Rimal, JBR: Short-Stay Apartments Between The Walk and the Sand

Jumeirah Beach Residence was laid out from the start as six groups of towers, and Rimal belongs to that original set. The towers stand on the beach, set back behind The Walk.

That position is the reason most people pick it. You have the sea on one side and the shops and cafés of The Walk on the other, without needing a car or a taxi for either.

Nightly prices are before taxes: 5% VAT and, in Dubai, the Tourism Dirham fee are added and listed line by line before you send a request. A refundable security deposit may apply.

Day to day in the Rimal towers

Rimal has more facilities than a holiday really needs. There's a swimming pool and an infinity pool, plus a jacuzzi and a sauna for the evenings when the beach has had enough of you. If you keep up training while away, there's a gym and a health club with a fitness centre, so a week here doesn't have to mean a week off.

Families get a kids' play area, which helps on the hot afternoons when the sand is too much for small feet. Security runs around the clock, and the building lists allocated parking as included. There's also an event space, though most short-stay guests never go near it.

The honest downside is the flip side of the location. The Walk draws crowds, especially at weekends and in the cooler months, so the area around the towers can feel busy. If you want somewhere quiet and out of the way, this isn't it.

Our apartments in Rimal

What we manage here leans towards one-bedroom apartments, mainly in Rimal 3. Some face the sea, and several look out towards Ain Dubai, which is a good sight after dark. These suit couples, friends travelling together or a small family.

We also look after a large three-bedroom in Rimal 5 with an extra assistant's room and views over the Marina. That one is for bigger families or groups who want to stay together rather than split across two flats. The list on this page is current, so check it for what's free on your dates.

Who Rimal works for

Beach-first travellers do well here, as do people staying a few weeks who want a pool, a gym and food on the doorstep without planning every day. If being able to walk out to the sand and back again for lunch matters to you, Rimal makes sense.

Questions people ask

How close is Rimal to the beach?

Very. The cluster sits on the beach itself, set back behind The Walk. You don't need transport to reach the sand.

Is Rimal a good choice with children?

Yes, for most families. There's a kids' play area and pools on site, and the beach is right there. Bear in mind The Walk gets crowded at busy times, so keep an eye on little ones when you head out.

Can I park a car if I'm driving?

The building lists allocated parking as included. Arrangements can differ from one apartment to another, so ask us about the specific flat you're looking at and we'll confirm what comes with it.
