Day to day in the cluster

The towers share a set of facilities, and the list is longer than most people expect. There are temperature-controlled swimming pools, a fully equipped gym, and a steam room and sauna. Children get their own play areas. Between the towers you have landscaped plazas and a landscaped walkway, which make the cluster feel less like a block of high-rises once you are down at ground level.

Practical things are covered too. Security runs around the clock, there is a concierge, the lifts are high-speed, and there is an ATM along with retail and food outlets you can reach without leaving the complex. Residents have allocated parking. If you are driving, ask us whether a space comes with the apartment you are looking at, because it varies.

What we have in Sadaf

Our mix here leans towards space. It is mostly two-bedroom apartments, with some three-bedrooms and the odd one-bedroom. Several are on high floors, and some look out over the sea.

The honest downside is that if you are travelling alone or as a couple on a tight plan, we usually have little at the smaller end here. Send us your dates anyway, because the list changes, but you may find better fits in other JBR clusters.

Who it suits

Sadaf suits families and groups who want room to spread out and a beach they can reach on foot. The pools and play areas help on days when nobody wants sand everywhere. It also works for longer stays of a few weeks or a month, when a proper living area and a second bathroom start to matter.
