Shams JBR holiday apartments: two-bedrooms by the beach

Shams is one of the six original tower clusters that make up Jumeirah Beach Residence. It sits on the beach side, behind The Walk, so the sand is on one side of you and the promenade on the other.

We manage a group of apartments across several Shams towers. They are all two-bedrooms at the moment, which says a lot about who tends to stay with us here: families, groups of friends and people who want proper space for a longer stay.

Life inside the cluster

The shared facilities cover most of what you would want on a beach holiday when you fancy a break from the sea. There is a swimming pool set within a landscaped garden, a gym, and a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi. A sports club and a jogging track give you somewhere to move that isn't a treadmill.

If you are travelling with children, there is a kids' play area, and the cluster has a first aid centre on site. Security runs around the clock. If you are driving, allocated parking comes with the apartment. That is a real help in a part of Dubai where finding a space is rarely easy.

Our apartments in Shams

Everything we have here right now is a two-bedroom. Most of our units are in Shams 1, with others in Shams 2 and Shams 4. They are generous family-sized layouts rather than compact city flats, and several are on higher floors.

Views vary from tower to tower and floor to floor. Some of our apartments look out over the sea or along the Dubai Marina canal, and one faces towards Ain Dubai. If a view matters to you, tell us when you get in touch and we will point you to the right one. The honest downside is that you won't find a studio or one-bedroom with us in Shams just now, so a solo traveller or a couple may be paying for space they won't use.

Who Shams suits

Shams works best for families and small groups who want the beach without crossing a main road, plus a pool and play area for the days when the sand gets too hot. It also suits anyone staying a few weeks or a month who would like a gym and sauna downstairs and a parking space they don't have to hunt for.

Do you have anything smaller than a two-bedroom in Shams?

Not at the moment. Our Shams apartments are all two-bedrooms. The list on this page is live, though, so anything new will show up there. If you want a smaller place, send us your dates and we can tell you what we have.

Can I park if I'm driving?

Yes. Allocated parking is included with the apartments here. The cluster also has 24/7 security, so you can leave the car without worrying about it.
